▶ Your Answer : The graphs above illustrate the comparison with total population and its age group with perspectives in the United Kingdom between 1960 and 2040.
It is noticeable that total population in britain has been increased since 1961 and expected to go up continuously until 2040. On the other hand, most of age groups show the decreases except for one group, more than 65 years.
In the year of 1960, the popolation in England recorded almost 50,000,000 and kept stable until 1980. From 1990, british total population count showed slightly going upward and is expected to reach a peak by showing approximately 70,000,000 in 2040. This trend is the opposite compared with the its age group. Surprisingly, the age group, 0-14, has been diminished over a period of 50 years and this trend will be keep going in the Uk. Nevertheless, the age group 65 and more presents slight rise in total. There was no move from 1960 to 1980, yet as of 1990, percentage has been going upward. For the first time in the age group 15-64 recorded the highest rating 50% by the year 1960 and showed the rapid incerase. After peacking more than 60% in 2010, this group will be seen to go down in the graph.
