Regarding this, some people argue that the rich people are the only ones who are able to benefit from air travel, and the majority of people rarely enjoy the benefits. Although some are concerned about the rapid growth of air travel, I strongly believe that flying is a mean of transport that easily enjoyed by many people because of affordable prices and special offers. First of all, with the development of flight industry, there has been significant decreases in ticket prices of planes. Consistent development and progress in air travel area have enabled to provide flying at affordable prices to public, not like in the past. According to a recent survey done in South Korea, the majority of people who experienced air travel between 2010 and 2015 answered they belong to the middle class. Also, more than half of respondents demonstrated that they began to travel by flight after 2010 as the ticket prices has been more reasonable than a decade ago. As it clearly shows, the rich are not only ones who can afford air travel thesedays. Moreover, there are many special offers to provide less expensive prices to people. A number of airline corporations offer to special price plans such as early-bird programs and discount events for family or group tourlists. According to the strategy department managers of Korean airlines, they are running more than 10 discount programs annually, and the number of passengers surges when they provide special offers. By providing the plans that offer inexpensive tickets of flights, the ordinary people can enjoy air travel's advantages. In conclusion, although mixed opinions exist regarding the growth of air travel, flying is not only for rich people anymore. Air travel became a mean of transport which provides comfortable experiences to people at reasonable prices because of technical advance and special offers. Therefore, the majority of people can enjoy its benefits as well as rich people regardless of expense. |
