Some people argue that arts, such as paintings and music, are a waste of money and the government should spend this money on other public services.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Sedack
Although many developed countries have invested a number of budgets on arts, some people say this is the waste of money. However, I totally think that investment has several benefits for some reasons.
First of all, public art facilities raise the quality of people's life. People get various feelings, indirect experiences from cultural life, and it is one of the important factors that make them keep their life. From art things like paintings, music, and movie, people really feel that they are alive and this could be a tonic to their life.
Moreover, arts are beneficial for economical development as well. A number of tourists visit foreign countries to experience different cultures, and it contains country's own artistic things. For example, in Korea, numerous foreigners come to Korea to participate in K-pop events and the amount of expenditure of them cannot be compared to any other incomes.
In conclusion, I believe that investing money at arts is absolutely not the waste, and it rather brings advantageous to the public and country as it keeps the quality of people's life, and makes a lot of profits.
