The given charts illustrate the percentages in meals of Sodium, Saturated fat, and Added sugar, which were consumed in the USA. All of them are considered as unhealthy nutrients if one exceeds the daily serving.
Overall, it is clear that, in average American breakfast, the percentages of Sodium, Saturated fat, and Added sugar are relatively low, while there are a considerable amount of Sodium and Saturated are included in their dinner table.
Looking at the graph more closely one can see that the proportion of Sodium and Saturated showed a similar pattern. By having the largest share of the dinner, approximately 40%, and the second comes to lunch, almost 30%. Moreover, the percentages of breakfast in all three charts were similar with 14% and 16%. However, sodium in the breakfast and the snack were equal, while Saturated fat was more included in a snack than the breakfast by 5 percentage point. Interestingly, the chart of Added sugar was different from the other two. Snack had the highest percentage of four meals, by 42%, which is the threefold share of sodium and twice of Saturated fat in the snack.
