▶ Your Answer :
Nowadays, people tend to move to huge urban areas, since a higher quality of life in
cities give them a sense of gratification. As the times gone, however, the cities' living
conditions are deteriorating increasingly for various reasons. In this essay, I
will mention regarding these causes and resolutions which can support to cope with this tendency.
The first reason to decline the quality of life is
pollution. With soaring of usage of vehicles - cars, motorcycles, trains -, the
air in advanced cities was contaminated. Furthermore, it is directed to the health
of citizens, especially, a respiratory disease.
For instance, the people who live in Beijing, the capital of China, are
being afflicted with an atmospheric problem which is caused by fumes. Secondly, an
overpopulation has influences on the human's life. It is unrealizable that
every person can receive same public services evenly such as medical care, education and
welfare in the high density of population. These shortages of opportunities of
national services could bring about people's discontentment.
For the pollution problems in urban area, the solution
should be handled at the governmental level. The policies about restriction of
quantity of exhaust, and promotion of use mass transportation could help to
control the air problems. Actually, many advanced countries executed already
those resolutions. In order to prevent overcrowd in big cities, the government
carry forward the measures in terms of balanced development through a whole country.
Since people migrate to urban cities to have benefits of advanced facilities
and services, if the government invest in rural areas' development, this trend
can be mitigated.
To sum up, because of environmental affairs and excess
population, the living quality is decreasing remarkably. Thus, the government
should plan some means to reform their degree of life at the national stage.
