▶ Your Answer : No one would deny that impact of mass media on mankind, providing good or bad news. However, recently mass media broadcasts some excessive crime scenes via our TV screen and newspapers. In this essay, I will agree with restricting them and demonstrate the appropriate reasons. To begin with, it is clear that suppressing press is dangerous to people. Nowadays, TV and newspapers provide critical informations such as crimes, wars, social problems, and environmental problems. To start controlling mass media by government causes that people cannot acquire all of information which is important. Supposing to, when a notorious prisoner who was on crime is escaped from the jail, people cannot know the news and avoid him. However, this may be true to some extent, modern press is needed to regulate in a little parts. Young viewers acquired the crimes in detailed without filtering as they do not distinguish if the scene is bad or not. They would imitate some terrible behaviour instead of something they have to do. Furthermore, as a negative consequence, focusing on not right conduct but crime acts makes more and more people to interest only crime behaviour. For instance, people know that who kills people, how much people died, how kill and how hide instead what is just. In conclusion, despite some opposite opinions, press should be restricted to show the specific points in order to protect the younger and the other. |
