In this industrialized world, it is extremely common to see a person who allocates his or her great amount of time to working. In this regard, job satisfaction had increasingly become significant. Also, there is a huge hope that all workers will enjoy their job. This essay will highlight factors that determine a degree of job satisfaction below and present my personal opinion on whether or not the majority employees will be satisfied with their work.
First of all, a variety of factors can contribute to job satisfaction such as colleague relationships, personal interests related to work and so on. According to a survey conducted by the Minister of Labour, the most leading element when it comes to satisfaction of job was fringe benefits offered by a company. To be specific, well over two thirds respondents believe that they are considerably motivated by the incentive system and special rewards; the employees are more willing to be involved in work and find it how to enjoy their job. As the survey shows shown by, perks provided by employers is essential to improve their workers’ morale and satisfaction.
In terms of the expectation of job satisfaction for the majority of employees, it is witnessed that a substantial number of people are suffering from company life. This is because according to society becoming materialistic, most people seek to lucrative occupations regardless of their interests or aptitudes. As a result of this phenomenon, the prospective that makes making all workers satisfied with their work seems catastrophic. However, for people who work in their field of profession and interest as professions which get along with their interests and skills, the quality of their work lives would be advanced remarkably. <(조금 더 질문을 답해주시는 씩으로 서술을 해주시면 좋을 것 같습니다. 예를 들어 in terms of ~ for all employees, it is not possible and it is witnessed that a substantial number of people actually are suffering from their work life.~ 라고 해주시면 모든 사람이 job satisfaction을 맞볼수가 없고 실제로는 힘들어하는 사람들이 있다고 해주시게 됩니다.)
To sum up, as far as I am concerned, employers’ efforts to offer fringe benefits and employee’s desire to work in the fields in which they are interested can lead to notable rise in the degree of job satisfaction.
