▶ Your Answer :
Humans are a social animal. They have evolved in the
environment, so that they created unseen rules called morality, ethics and
manners. All humans are followed by such rules and interacted each other.
However, these rules do not come naturally. It is important to teach children
about these social acceptable behaviours strictly, because otherwise they may
experience social isolation or even result in a criminal act.
The freedom in children's behaviour may seem attractive
for its convenience for creating creativity and easy controlling the children.
By having the freedom, children can think out of a box when they solve a
problem, in particular social problems. In the case of dealing with tough
customers or initiating the conversation, can be solved this situation by
trying a new way. Therefore, having the freedom for children seems necessary.
However, it is a fact that freedom needs a
responsibility. In other words, the freedoms should have a certain boundary to
limit people's behaviours. Otherwise, people even for children, would not be
able to be a part of society members. Since many Western countries have a norm
where they allow children to be act freely, it leads to high crime rates and
drugs. If children do not bound by any responsibilities and restrictions they
can act freely even that means harm the others. Therefore, it is necessary to limit
children's behaviour.
When teaching children the rightful behaviours strictly,
children are having a higher probability of become a successful society member
in the future. Even though the ways teaching children are too strict, children
would have grown to be mannered with positive behaviours. These positive
manners can bring a synergy to others so that, children can interact with other
people without having any issues.
In conclusion, in terms of children's behavioural growth,
it would be better to have strict rules so that, they can become a part of
society member. Therefore, strict rules are necessary in terms of children's
behaviour.
