Your Answer ▼ History has been considered as one of the most important subjects for students to learn at school. On the other hand, as usages of new technologies increase, some argue that students have to learn science and technology more than history. There are several reasons that history has been regarded as essential subject to be learnt. By learning history, people can broaden their perspectives as well as prevent making same mistake that ancestor made in the past. If similar incident happens with past, people who know the history would not be likely to make same choices that engender worse consequences than the past time. Because they have learnt wise way to deal with similar kinds of problems from history. Also, it helps change and borden people's perspective of world, knowing how incidents have been occurred and what it brought as consequences. On the other hand, it is undeniable that science and acquiring technology skills are necessary nowadays. There are keep new borns in technologies which will make future that people will not able to live without science. Even nowadays, it is hard when people do not know average knowledge of science. In fact, I was surprised to heard that the one of skills my brother had to learn when became a worker of a company was how to use technical skills with artificial robot. Becoming one part of future society would be hard when people do not have any idea of principles of science or technical skills. All in all, I strongly agree with both contentions. In today's world, people necessitate either wisdoms from history and scientific skills. I contend that history, science and technology are to be taught at the same degree at schools.
