Today, information is everywhere, and children are exposed to it that might be inappropriate or incorrect. In this regard, it is often argued that for them learning information from television can be harmful. However, some opponents and I think that it is never bad. In this essay, I will discuss both views and my opinion.
Actually, it is true that most information on television is not supposed to be for the teens. This is because when the producers of programmes consider them to be their viewers and feel responsible too much, they will have less freedom. For them, freedom of expression is a priority, but this often leads to a problem when their programmes are exposed to teenagers because they can learn wrongdoings from it instead of resourceful information.
Meanwhile, there is an advantage of watching television and learning what it is on. For example, children can know what is going on in this world. The world is too big for them to understand, so they cannot directly digest information about the system of it. Some informative programmes and its producers will teach them about their world and what they can do for where they are living.
In conclusion, I personally believe that it is healthy for children to watch television to learn information. This is because there will always be contents for children that educate them in the simplest way. |
