Modern society make poeple consume items. World changes quickly as we develop technologies, and also people are more likely to chase convenience. For example, In Korea where I live, people can easily get stuffs over online which everyone can access handy. Pollution and Global warmming is a huge problem for us to solve, so recycle is indeed important for our planet.
To promote recylcle, I reckon Government should make legal requirements. Especially for to entrepreneurs or factories. Since they make vast amount of products and at the end, people consume easily and become rubbish at some point.
However, in my opinion for individuals, publishing a law is not essential. The reason why is because it’s not easy to track every house. For that reason, I would like to suggest promoting and emphasising recycle on public commercial, showing how world has been changed compare to the past. So people actually can remain reflect themselves about how serious environment is damaged. To add on, Government could open a class or a lecture over online how to recycle in useful ways so people can learn. Highlighting recycle everywhere with advertisements will eventually effect individuals. It may take time, but I suppose it will be effective once people realize currunt status of our environment.
In conclusion, for production lines it would definitely need law about recycle to protect overproduction. On the other hand for individuals, I believe changing perception is more effective than making a leagal requirement. Additionally giving people a guide how to recycle will lead to waste less. |
