The above two plans demonstrate a public park in 1920 and today.
Overall, it is clear that the two entrances and a rose garden which is in the south west of the plan are maintained from 1920 to today. Except both two facilities, their facilities are changed all now.
Looking at the two plans more closely, the four seats, a stage for musicians and the rose garden in the west side of the plan in 1920 are removed today. However, amphitheatre for concerts is built instead of the past facilities which were removed. There was a fountain in the center of the plan in 1920. Whereas, there is a rose garden which is surrounded by four seats. 1920’s Grange Park had a rose garden and a pond for water plants in the south east of the plan. Unlike the park in 1920, a cafe and a children’s play area are located in the same ground of the above two facilities. A glasshouse and a seat were located in the south east side of the plan in 1920. However, a water feature is established in the same area today. Additionally, the Grange Park in these days has an entrance underground car park in the south east side of the plan.
