Your Answer ▼ The bar graph illustrates the proportion of profits made from the seven most popular movie genres in the US in 1995, 2000, and 2005 as a percentage of the total annual earnings for of the US film industry.
Overall, it is clear that Americans watched more adventure, comedy, action, and drama films more than thriller, musicals, and animation films in all of the years in 1995, 2000, and 2005 on the chart.
Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that drama was the most viewed genre in 1995, while animation was the least one in the same year. Unlike drama decreased by 5 percent points constantly every 5 years, comedy increased gradually through the years in question. Adventure dipped from 1995 to 2000 until it surged in 2005, reaching a pinnacle of just under 25percent. Action remained relatively stable, but it still slightly fell every 5 years. There were some slight shifts in the percentages of the genres including thriller, musicals, and animation, but only animation experienced constant increases, peaking at about 7percent in 2005, which was almost half of the figure of drama in the year.(+스릴러와 뮤지컬 영화의 변화 추이는 똑같다는 점도 함께 써주시면 더 좋을 것 같습니다.)
