The three pie charts represent information on the expenditure
of a school in 1981, 1991 and 2001. Overall, teachers' salaries took up the
largest part of the total amount of spending, while the smallest part went to insurance
throughout the period.
When it comes to the spending in 1981, 40% of the total
amount of spending was used for teachers' incomes, and 28% of the budget was
expended for other worker’s salaries. The figure for insurance was only 2%.
Commencing with the expenditure in 1991, the proportion of
teachers' salaries increased by 10 percentage points to 50%, while the figure
for other workers' incomes decreased slightly to 22%. It is notable that the
figure for resources such as books went up from 15% to 20%, but that for
furniture and equipment fell from 15% to 5% by 1991.
With regard to the total school spending in 2001, the
percentage of insurance experienced a significant rise of 5 percentage points
to 8%, but it was still the smallest among the others. While the figure for
teachers' salaries went down moderately to 45%, that for furniture and
equipment skyrocketed sharply from 5% to 23% between 1991 and 2001. |
