Your Answer ▼ The line graph compares the figures of standard emissions of carbon dioxide per person in four countries : United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal from 1967 to 2007. All in all, It is clear that carbon dioxide was consumed the most in United Kingdom throughout the given periods, while rates of Italy and Portugal increased. On the other hand, notable decrease was seen in Sweden. The amount of emissions of carbon dioxide was the highest in UK in the first year, starting at almost 11 ton. From the period of 1977 to 2007, there was marginal decrease in average Co2 emissions in UK, ended up below 9 ton. In the meantime, the figure of Portugal has reached it's peak at about 10 ton in 1977, before plunged significantly, ending up at over 5 ton On the other hand, the similar figures were seen in Italy and Portugal, starting at about 4 ton and 1 ton respectively. The figure of Italy grew of 2 tonnes, finally catching up that of Sweden in the third year. Meanwhile, there were notable soar in the figure of Portugal, showing the same figure with that of Sweden in the last year after increasing of around 4 tonnes.
