The bar graph compares that the proportion of residents who leased and owned housing in different two countries from 1918 through 2011.
As we can see, an upward trend was seen in families who resided their own houses. On the contrary, the share of households who dwelled rented houses fell gradually over given period. In addition, these two figures occupied an identical share of 50 percent in 1971.
