▶ Your Answer :
Nowadays, there are a various kinds of media for communicating information, such as a television, a radio, and a book. Each media has both advantages and disadvantages. However, I think that a television is the most effective media to communicate information for several reasons. First, the people who get information through a television can both watch visual stuffs and listen to sound, while the poeple who get information from a radio can only listen to sound and a reader of a book can only watch visual stuffs. This fact is a really important advantage of a television because the advantage help people understand information easier than any other media do. For example, when a serious earthquake occurs, television can effectively show people the new with video and sound, while radio has limits to show the crucial and vivid situation because of its lack of visuality. Second, a television can immediately communicate with people when some events happen, while a book can not. For example, when 911 occured in the U.S., a television directly said about the news, but people had to wait for reading a book associated with the news until the book was published. In addition, these days everything changes so quickly, and many issues happen uneventually, so the fact that a television can immediately communicate information is an important advantage compared to a book. In conclusion, a television is the most effective media for communicating information for several advantages which are other media's disadvantages. In addition, a television will become more important and more effective way of communicating information by time goes, since more and more people want to communicate quickly and to get information through both watching and listening at once for easy understanding. |
