Overall, It is apparent that proportion of interests of each genres had amazingly variable. Although, the most profitable genres that Adventure, Comedy, Action and Drama kept their profit over 10 years. However, Thriller, Musicals, and Animation genres had a low of demand during the same period. In 1995, the Drama genre reached a peak of 28 percentage of profits, which was the most profitable, followed Comedy, Action genres. Yet, the proportion dipped down substantially to approximately 16% in 2005. After five years, the Comedy genre’s profits surpassed interests the Drama one, and the Action genre still remained the third place of making profit from movies. At the time of 2005, the Comedy genre also gained of about 26% that the most profitable movie. Moreover, the Adventure genre over doubled from 10% to 24%. Movies’ that drama genre benefit became 16% percentage so it situated at third profitable movie in 2005. Consequently, the most liked movie genres’ profit percentage roughly decreased over the ten-year period except for genres of Adventure, Comedy, and Animation. |
