▶ Your Answer :
The bar graphs below give information on UK
graduate and postgraduate student’s status by four different type except those
who hold a full-time job in the year of 2008.
Firstly, we can easily see that the number
of graduates is almost ten times bigger than that of postgraduates so that the
scale of bar graph is different. The interesting point is, even though the
number and scale of both graduates and postgraduates are different, their
status type has similar order. Figure of their destination has a same order
from further study, part-time work, unemployment, and voluntary work in
sequence.
In terms of graduates, 29,665 students were
decided to keep studying while only 3,500 students devoted oneself to voluntary
work. And the number of part-time worker and unemployed were and 16,235
respectively. In the case of postgraduates, 2,725 postgraduates kept their
academic career and 2,535 postgraduates were got into the job-world even though
it was a part-time job. And 1,625 and 345 of researched postgraduates were
under the unemployment and voluntary working, respectively. The major
difference we could find between the graduates and postgraduates was, the
proportion of part-time worker is high among the postgraduates in UK.
