The table shows the information about the
US international students’ economic value in 2005, 2010 and 2015, and the bar
graph indicates the number of international students’ growth divided into three
different countries.
Overall, it is apparent that there was a significant
increase in the table, improving the value by over $20 billion during a decade.
Meanwhile, in the bar graph, it can be seen similar trends the given countries,
which increase the figure of international students in general.
Looking at the table more closely, it was
not significant change between 2005 and 2010, rising the value only by $5.5
billion. However, the number of US students who went to study abroad increased by
$20.2 billion in 2015, roughly doubled by 2010.
As can be seen in the bar graph, there was
a similar increasing tendency to US in the three countries. Among them, especially,
Chinese international students’ number went up dramatically, which rose
approximately over 300 thousand during the period. On the other hand, the number
of international students in India and South Korea rose relatively slightly,
representing roughly by over 200 and 20 thousand, respectively.
