Thesedays, ex-president of Korea's suicide and launching nuclear rocket in North-Korea are currently being big issues. Although these issues are present situations these will be the past events. And what would you tell your children when they are curious of past events which you do not know? You may not think it is going to happen but it could be happened in the coming decades. As a result, I disagree with the statement above.
The first reason why I strongly disagree with is that learning about the past could be equal as a experience. People learn lots of knowledge from their experiences. As people face with a problem which they never have got through, it would be hard to solve that situation. On the other hand, if we once got through before, it might be easier to control the problem. This is why we must know the past events.
Secondly, the past history is why we are here and how we have been in this world. Besides, to establish our identity, we need to know the history. Our identity could not be explained without the past. For example, a tree has a its root. And it is grown up by watering from the root. As a same way I mentioned, people at present could develop by knowing and learning the past.
In conclusion, as time flies nowadays and speeding the development up, people tend to consider studying the history is useless. However, from my point of view, I disagree with the statement above. The past could be useful experiences and our identity why we are here in this world. |
