▶ Your Answer : After people commit crime, they always receive a trial for judgement regarding their guilty and punishment. Some criminals did something evil, but some of them might make a just mistake without intentionality. If there always be fixed punishment without consideration in reasons of incidents, no one could say that the law is upright to people. Thus, I believe that justice department should take into consideration all the causes of case before a judgement. Some argue that if there is no absolute standard for some types of crime, criminals might be able to abuse law for avoiding their penalties. To reduce their sentences, they may fabricate circumstnaces intelligently. Furthermore, as a law which every national member msut follow, it should have specific references to redress an injustice. There is a saying, 'A pretext is never wanting.'. and it means that every incidents has its own excuse and result. Sometimes a person's behavior results unintended effect an people commit crimes necessarily. For instance, a woman murdered a man who tried to rape herself at late night. If the woman should be punished the fixed sentence for murder, she would be ruined by an unjust charge. To prevent a unfair judgement, ruling ought to consider all the reasons of each incident. In conclusion, it is true that law should have correct criterion to protect a social order and crimes. Nevertheless, like two sides of a coin, I think the law must also have hearts to prevent people who are in unjust situation and give social member hope in terms of justice. |
