Some people think that theoretical knowledge should be given priority in education while others suggest that more practical skills should be taught. Which side are you with? Give your opinion and reasons based on your own experiences.
Some people strongly insist that students should learn practical skills more than theoretical knowledge in university. Personally, I completely agree this view for some reasons.
First of all, practical skills can help students to find their jobs more easily. This is mainly because most employers will prefer employees who have already learned the skills needed in the workplace. Take an example as a marketing company. It will need the graduates who can how to sell products and manage well its customers while the those with only theoretical knowledge with marketing subject can not be attracted by the company. Additionally, all firms are able to save time and money for the new employees because they do not have to spend much time for them to be trained. Therefore, trained with practical skills through college can be preferred by a large number of companies.
In addition, students can have a chance what they are good at through education of practical skills, which is the most important thing after getting a job because working a talent for can bring them confidence and happiness, although the ones with only theoretical knowledge is truly hard for them to detect their aptitudes. Consequently, students experienced skills practically can enjoy satisfied their lives with confidence.
In conclusion, especially after graduation, they can find and work in where it is related to their aptitudes and eventually, employers will choose them.
