Your Answer ▼ The bar graphs show the rate of death by age and gender in Africa in three years 1950, 1980, and 2010.
Looking at the graphs more closely, one can see that in the graph by age, the proportion of mortality in the 21~30 age group generated the lowest rate among the five age groups. On the other hand, that of the oldest age group maintained the highest during the 60 years. Although all mortality rates by age declined over the 60-year period it maintained a similar pattern. On the one hand, in the graph by gender, there was the gap that nearly ten percent in 1950, however, the gap in the mortality between males and females narrowed since the start to decrease from 1950.
Overall, it is clear that the downward trend was seen in the mortality rate by age and gender in Africa in 1950, 1980, and 2010. |
