Your Answer ▼ The pie charts compare the proportions of water that was used for three different purposes in six regions : North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Centralasia and South East Asia. Looking at the graphs closely, one can find that the water was used by far the most for agriculture, at more than 70% in Africa, Centralasia and South East Asia. The water for industrial use was used the less in Africa and Centralasia, when south East Asia's less usage of water was for domestic use. On the other hand, the needs for water were the most significant in the area of industry in North America and Europe, accounted for 48% and 53% respectively. In addition, the remain ratios of purposes of water between the two countries were similar with only disparities of 2% and 7% in domestic use and agricultural use. All in all, it seems that the most popular usage of water was for the agricultural purpose except for North America and Europe which the consumptions of water were largely for industrial use
