On the other hand, in Oceania 11.3% was degraded by over-grazing. Only 5% of land in North America was degraded.
Overall, Oceania was highly affected by the land degradation from over-grazing compared to the rest regions. However, more than half of proportion of worldwide within the causes of deforestation and over-cultivation was come from Europe (58%).
