Nowadays, many people have concerned about the ways to improve people’s health. There are controversial issues whether increasing the
number of sports facilities is the most suitable ways to enhance public health or
other methods are needed. Personally, I think that government’s schemes
through the advertisements or campaigns make
people much more healthier.
First of all, a growing number of sports facilities
are likely to give an influential effect to the public fitness.
This is because investments on the various sports equipment and public sports
centers provide adequate conditions to
exercise regardless of a long distance or expensive cost of private sports
centers. For example, if the government builds a badminton court in front of
apartments more and more people will utilize it during
their leisure time with family or friends
since they can save a time to go farther and
money for the use of facilities. Through this,
naturally they could solve their own health problems,
such as obesity. As a result, providing numerous sports facilities can induce
people to exercise and finally be healthier.
On the other hand, increasing the
amount of sports facilities hardly analyze the data statistically and know how much
the facilities improve the public healthy. Therefore, the more specific and
viable measures are needed. For example, the government should introduce a
physical examination system annually which allows people to check their health
condition and encourage people to have an interest in health problem. In
addition, they also have to implement compulsive physical exercise time, such as stretching time an hour a
day in schools and work places. Hence, these methods can be more effective to
enhance the overall health level.
In conclusion, increasing the
number of sports facilities is positive
for people’s health. However, I believe that the campaign or government’s
schemes are more efficient measures to improve overall citizen’s health.
