Overall, the most popular function of mobile phone was
making calls throughout the period. In addition, as time went by, the
percentages of people utilized the various functions showed an upward trend
except for making calls and playing games.
In 2006, all mobile phone owners used theirs to make calls,
while only 12% of people played music with the machines. It is notable that
there were no data for searching the Internet and recording video.
In the year 2008, while all mobile phone owners still used
their ones for making calls, the percentages of people utilized other functions increased. To be specific, the figure for taking photos went up slightly from
66% to 71%, and that for playing games rose considerably from 17% and 42%.
After two years, all the proportions remained stable except
for recording video, searching the Internet and playing music. In particular,
it is noticeable that the figure for searching for the Internet rocketed by 32
percentage points from 41% to 73%. |
