For children, it is important to be prepared to be responsible individuals for their life. Some people believe that children should do more things on their own, while others think that it is not necessary right now. I agree that young people need more experiences of self directing. In this essay, I will discuss why it is essential.
Being independent helps children be better at what they do. When they study, for example, they will be able to have their own style of learning, and knowing what works will boost productivity. As there are many life options available from schools today, it will be important for young people to have decision making skills. Taking it during the process of self learning might be the easiest starting point to live a self sufficient life in their future.
After teenagers grow up, they are exposed to even more options in their life. They start to care about their lifestyles, and there are many organisations and methods to help with it. However, some lifestyles are just trends, and blindly following them/those ways can be dangerous. If children have been trained sufficiently and be more selective about their living, they can avoid this. Then they will be able to act more responsibly (기존 표현도 틀린 건 아니고, 그냥 msg 정도만 쳐드리겠습니다.) be more responsible for their limited time and budgets.
Living an independent life can also mean for young people that they can start to make their living at younger age. If they do not choose to live this way, their parents might have to support the family economically instead of them. This can make the whole family unstable. These days job opportunities are getting (dhll님 실력이면 이것보다 나은 표현을 찾으실 수 있을 겁니다.) less and less. If people do not think and prepare for their future when they are younger, they might end up living a distorted family life which is far from a traditional family structure.
In conclusion, more chances should be given for young children to live independently because it can help them make healthier choices before and after they grow up. Otherwise they will make life decisions based on others’ opinions or never even decide anything. |
