Above chart shows annual fugures that each is the number of marriages or divorces. below chart shows the status of marriage classified by four groups.
In the above chart, the number of divorces is more fluctuate than that of the marriages. Although the number of the marriages from 1970 to 1985 increases by about units of 200, annual marriage peoples are between 21,000 and 25,000, and, 1985 to 2000, there is almost no variation. However, until 1985, the number of divorces increases by approximate units of 1,000. After 1985, there is subtle decrease in that figure.
Below chart shows the status of marriage in 1970 and 2000. There are slight changes in the number of divorced and widowed people other than that of married and single people. As time sequence, divorced people increase by about 2 percentages, but widowed people decrease by approximately 2 percentages.
