▶ Your Answer :
Students usually
attend universities to improve their abilities which help their future path and
career. After graduation, they aim at finding a good job for self-satisfaction.
I believe, even though it is true that students enter universities to find
better work, universities should concentrate on teaching of scholarly knowledge.
A number of
companies recruit some new employees because they feel the lack of human resources
by retirement. Almost cooperation want to hire well-skilled people, hoping to
arrange them into the business immediately, as they usually feel uncomfortable
with the training cost of freshmen. It takes considerable period and cost
because they need some time to adapt themselves to tasks and working environments. For
that reason, lots of companies suggest that universities ought to teach some useful
skills in advance.
However,
fundamentally, a university is the place to educate the academic knowledge. All
of the fields that are handled by the business of a company, are based on basic
studies. Without research on basic
principals, there will be no development in any
practical area, and it can bring about the failure of the business.
While the required time for graduation is only 4 years, people will work very long time. Through the
time, they will be skilled at working naturally, so, the 4 years is an
appropriate time to invest for improvement of their intellectual knowledge.
To sum up,
in my opinion, it is obvious that students seek a good job which want a skilled
person, though, it does not mean universities have to prefer teaching practical
skills to academic purpose. For acquirement of individuals' knowledge, a
university should offer many chances that students access to knowledge. 감사합니다^^
