Your Answer ▼ The influence of developed technology on tendency of people's relationships is the most controversial argument among modern people. In this essay, two different perspectives on this issue will be discussed.
On one hand, it is certain that improvement of technology, such as cellphones or internet, allowed people to connect with each other regardless of time or distance. In the past, contact methods were considerably restricted in many different aspects. By contract, after the high-tech has been advanced, it is much convenient for modern people to share each other's daily life without distinction of locations or time in conjunction with to have even more intimate relations among peers. For instance, it was quite limited for myself to contact to one of my friends when I was a juvenile since the most of households occupied single telephone for the entire family members. However, the development of personal mobiles enables people to interact with each other in a swifter and more convenient way.
On the other hand, some assert that although the technology made people have more intimate relationships in account of frequent contacts, those are all superficial intimacy. Undoubtedly, cellphones and the Internet technology have greatly changed people's daily lives ever since those were introduced. Yet, those, also, played a negative role in weakened emotional bonds of people, which used to be strong. To illustrate, it is easily found that a great number of people are less concerned with socialization in real life, but socialization in social medias. Furthermore, modern citizens are unlikely to prefer to interact with others in actual daily life, which is regarded as a severe social issue of the contemporary generation.
To sum up, although it is true that the development of technology has brought modern population tremendous benefit, the technology has exerted some pessimistic effect on people as well. That is, more isolated social atmosphere. In this regard, I firmly believe that modern technology has caused less sociable interaction among people.
