Overall, the median annual
earnings for both gender rose as the educational level rose rises. The average
salaries for women are considerably lower than that of men. The lower the
education showed the considerably low salaries for both genders but recorded
the high gender earnings ratio.
The women with associate’s
degree qualification experienced of getting $40,000 annual earnings compared to
$50,000 for men. If the qualification gets higher, their annual earnings
increased. The median annual earnings for holding a bachelor’s degree were
$50,000 for women and $70,000 for men. The highest median annual earnings for
men and women are those who have graduate degrees of $94,000 and $65,000, respectively. The
lowest average salaries for both genders were $21,000 for women and $28,600 for
men for having less than high school diploma.
The gender earnings ratios showed that the higher educational level would have the lowest ratio of 69.1%.
The highest gender earnings ratio was at associate’s degree of 80%.
