Some people feel that paparazzi should not follow celebrities and invade their privacy by taking pictures of them everywhere, while others believe this is just the price of fame. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.
Nowadays, a majority of people think that paparazzi should be banned since it causes numerous problems regarding the invasion of privacy and safety. Nevertheless, some people say that the consequences of the paparazzi is the thing that celebrities should endure, as it is a price of fame. In this essay, I will address the arguments of both sides and give my opinion of the detrimental side of the paparazzi.
On the one hand, being followed by numerous paparazzi means that they are famous. People want to know even when they are not on the TV. A majority people consider celebrities as a product themselves, it is an understandable idea that people want to know their real life. Those famous people earn a large amount of money compared to normal workers. The inconvenience created by the paparazzi can be seen as the price of fame.
On the other hand, many people consider celebrities do not have to endure the paparazzi’s inappropriate behaviour just because they are famous. They think that celebrities are same human being as we are, so their privacies have to be protected. Furthermore, sometimes as paparazzi gathered in a crowd, it can cause the safety problems. That means famous people can not even walk the street like a normal person as it might be turn into some accident.
To sum up, even it is an understandable idea that celebrities should let the paparazzi take their photo since it is a part of the price of their fame, I firmly believe that since there are an invasion of one’s privacy and a possibility of an accident, paparazzi should not follow the celebrities.
