Creative artists should always be given the freedom to express their own ideas(in words, pictures, music of film) in whichever way they wish. There should be no government restrictions on what they do. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?) |
Several years ago, in Korea, it was a huge scandal that a married couple who both worked for a middle school (생략)as art teachers in a middle school uploaded their blog with their naked pictures.>> their naked pictures on their bolg. Lots of parents whose their children went to the school showed outrages about it and mad at the couple. Likewise, some people think that no matter what they call “art”, there should be a limitation to express. However, I personally disagree with that idea and also believe that no government restrictions should be upon those artistic activities. First, the reason why the freedom to express artists >> artists' freedom to express their own ideas should not be banned from a government is that the government has no right to control over people’s creativity. Government ,at first ,was originated >> founded to deal with citizen’s convenience such as administration or group interests. Even though the role of government tremendously has increased >> has tremendously increased in recent years, I think that restricting particularly >> particular people’s right to express in an art form is >> should be considered to be totally beyond its main role. Therefore, letting the government constitute human beings' freedom in art does not make sense.
이유가 정확하지 않아요~ the main role of government 가 뭔지요?? 좀더 정확하게 말해 주세요. 님이 말씀 하신 administration 이나 represeting nations' major interests 인가요? 그건 restricting art 와 어떤 연관성이 있나요? 좀더 specific 하게 연관성을 제시해 주세요 Second, even though government prevents artists from expressing themselves, the criteria the government would apply to might be too subjective or biased to certain group such as conservatives. The definition of art varies from people to people. Without the clear definition of art, government neither can ban some art activities nor can have specific standards to impose legal restrictions. Consequently, because of ambiguity of illegal art, it is not desirable that government demands artists not to express their own ideas. |
