Many parents think that advertisements produced for children is harmful
to children’s development, however, advertising experts believe that they advertisements are useful as a source of information. Even though both have rational
reasons, I think the latter is more acceptable.
There are those who argue that various kinds of advertisements related
to children have had negative impacts on kid’s behavior. It is true that many
youngsters want to buy advertised products while pestering their parents,
however, only just some of them who have been growing in an affluent family are able
to get those. This situation has triggered off some psychological disorders on
children like depression, frustration or feeling of isolation, and would be the
reason for bullying which is the most severe social problem these days.
Furthermore, some parents who have difficulties to maintain a certain level of
daily life also have to deal with their children’s unacceptable request.
However, others assert that advertisements have already acted on an
important source of information. It cannot be denied that individuals who are have low levels of literacy have got useful information through advertisements, and the
public could realize the latest trend while just watching some commercials on
their comfortable couch. Especially, with the developement of the Internet, the
masses can enjoy more practical commercials and could get selective information.
That is the reason why most people have tried to watch all kinds of
advertisements and compare each one’s specialties while watching divers the same
sort of commercials.
In conclusion, I think that although some parents could feel the burden
