Some people argue that there are too many options today, however I agree with this argument with only half.
On one hand, it is true that poeple should face too many choices, and they are more than necessary most of the time. The world has become a big global market, and this cosumption culture society, people tend to produce too many kinds of products, which are very similar. Even though, people's demands for some products are already satisfied, companies sell similar products endlessly. For example, when I bougut a mobile phone a few months ago, there were a hundred of products but they were almost identical, and I though choosing a phone among very similar phones was a waste of time at the moment.
On the other hand, if there are more and more choices, people can have more freedom to choose and this gives variety of joy and pleasure to them. In the times when there were not many options or alteratives, people can not choose as much as they want, and also their lives were dull. However, thanks to globalization and advances of technology, we can have more and more choice in almost every area in lives and that makes our lives more various and characterstic. Today, people can travel all around the worlds, follow fashion trends, buy whatever they want, and such a freedom of choice makes people more satisfied and enjoy expressing themselve. In conclusion, I admit that to some extent it is annoying and waste of time because of too many options these day, but from the other point of view, these variety of choices makes people's lives more joyful and happy. Therefore, I agree with the idea that there are too many choices just only in a half way.
