It is true that many grown-ups neglect to spend time in doing physical activities even though they used to participate in sports actively when young. The main cause of the downward trend of adult’s exercise is the devoid of a strict regulation. Although problematic, it can be solved by implementing an exercise quota for those who passed adolescence period by the government. The primary reason of the adult’s decreased amount of outdoor activities is it is not rigidly required to exercise anymore as they finish twelve-years of education. Before people become college students, they have to participate in a PE class to graduate from schools. They even did not mind spending extra hours in outdoors to get a good mark in the course. Nonetheless, once they advanced to university, it is no longer the (the 도 되긴 하는데, an 이 나아보이네요. 물론 관사는 작성자의 의도에 따라 달라지는 면도 있으니까, 그냥 참고 정도만 해주세요.) essential subject. Therefore, they prefer to use time for fun activities such as watching movies instead of doing demanding exercises. While it is a pressing matter that the grown-ups are getting less involved in sports, there is a good way to solve this by enforcing a strict regulation for those who do not participate in physical activities. For example, US citizens have no qualms at all doing jury duty because they do not want to violate the Constitutional Law. Likewise, if it becomes compulsory to spend a certain amount of time in physical activities annually, this could boost the number of participants in sports. It is projected to be more efficient in case a provision regarding a fine is added. To sum up, it is evident that the time which adults consume on working out on a regular basis is declining. Although this is a serious problem, it can be resolved by the establishment of a strict policy which punishes those who do not fulfill an exercise quota during the given period. |
