Action movies with spectacular car chases are very popular with young people.
It is often said that these sorts of movies lead to an increase in car accidents among young drivers as they try to copy what they have seen in the films. Do you agree that such movies increase the amount of bad driving? What can be done to encourage young people to drive more safely? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. |
I agree that action movies increase the amount of bad driving because the films with spectacular car chases influences indirectly to have bad driving habit to young people. Young people are very energetic and have more curious than the old. Because of this inclination, they like to try to copy what they have seen in the films. So the films are age-limitation grade. For example, there is the Free-Road in Il-san city of South Korea. Early in the morning, there is a few car on The Free-Road so young drivers drive faster on it as they have seen in the films. As a result of it, they occasionally caused car accident and I saw the news about it in the past. This is one of examples which action movies influence indirectly to have driving habit to young drivers.
The government should encourage some contents young drivers to drive more safely. The first, the young drivers should obey the traffic light and road signs . They should stop their car when the traffic light is signed RED or YELLOW The second, they should not drive faster on road and highway and obey the speed limitation. They should maintain regular speed although the highway is a few cars. Finally, they should not use their mobile phone during driving their car because it is very risky and interfere driving. If the young drivers obey well above contents, they will be able to drive more safely.
In conclusion, I think that when the producers make the film, they should consider what does it influences spectator and similarly, the spectators don’t accept the film as it is after they watched the movies and need to see it with objective view. |
