▶ Your Answer :
The line graph illustrates that the amount
number of people who smoked by each gender in the time period between 1960 and
2000 in Someland.
The most notable fact is that a substantial
number of men had smoked, which were approximately 600 per 1000 people.
However, it is interesting to note that the number of men had fallen to almost
250 thousand people in 2000.
When it comes to females, in 1960, under 100
thousand female smoked and it gradually started to rise to 2000 thousand in
1965, remained steadily until 1970. In addition, from 1970 to 1975 there was
significant increase in the smoking female proportion, which was recorded as the
largest number of female, over 300 thousand. After this period, it started to
decline slowly to 200 thousand numbers of women in 2000.
By analyzing the data, we can conclude that
the gap between men and women shown considerable difference, accounting for the
highest number of people by men. However, as time goes by, this gap had become
narrow, finally shown similar number of people by each sex in 2000.
