It is clear that the breakfast is the lowest proportion of all three types of nutrients, while the dinner is the heaviest consumption of them. In general, snacks has highest contents of added sugar, while sodium is used the most in dinner.
When it comes to four types of meals, people in the USA intake the smallest portion in breakfast, compared with the other meals during a day, only 14% for sodium, 16% for both saturated fats and added sugar. By contrast, dinner contains a large ratio at 43, 37 and 23% for sodium, saturated fats and added sugar respectively.
In terms of lunch, the USA usage is the lowest after breakfast, at 29% for sodium, 26% for saturated fats and just under a fifth for added sugar. Likewise, in snacks, Inhabitants of the United States are likely to ingest most added sugar up to 42%, which is as nearly double as ingest sodium at merely 14% and saturated fats at 21%. |
