The graphs below show the ups and downs of total volume of export earnings and the percentages changed between 2015 and 2016 in one country.
For ‘Textiles’, which showed the biggest surge in its figure, the earnings was increased 15.24% from 25 billion US$ to above 30 billion US$. ‘Petroleum products’, which was the most well exported categories in the given category by 60 billion US$ of earnings also increased 3% to 62 billion US$. ‘Engineered goods’, which was the second largest category in earning volumes also increased 8.5% from 55 billion US$ to slightly above 60 billion US$ maintaining its status as the second largest after ‘petroleum and products’. Adding to that, ‘Agricultural products’ also in the growing tendency in the given period though the changed figure were merely 0.81%.
Among given five major export categories, four categories experienced increases in their earnings as noted above. Meanwhile ‘Gems and jewellery’ export earnings were decreased 5.18% from 42 billion US$ to 40 billion us$ from 2015 to 2016.
