▶ Your Answer :The tables illustrate on the average number of students learned by each lecturer in Australian universities between 1991 and 2007 compared with divided two subjects in 2001.
In 1991, as seen from the chart, the average figure of students was the lowest at around 12.3. But, every four-year period there were steady increases by 2007 about 21.6, rising almost 1.5 times(in 1995, 14.4, in 1999 17.1 and in 2003 21.6 respectively). Therefore, the lecturer had to teach more and more increasing students in a class over the period.
When it comes to 2002 year, the table showed two different type of subjects. First, the number of students who attended in lecture-based was much higher than that of laboratory-based at around 10. While Education (22.5) was the least figure, Law(28.5) demonstrated the highest of that. On the other hand, science had 14.4 students in the class in laboratory one, and there were about 17.5 in the Chemistry class, showing the highest figure.
To summarize, the average number of students taught by each lecturer seemed to increase consistently from 1991 to 2007. Also, lecturer especially teaching law, sociology, education had to care too many students.
