It is true that a lot of historical remains have been damaged by tourists, which makes those places more difficult to preserve. While this is a complex problem to handle, it could be solved by forcing more regulations to some extent on tourists’ undesirable behaviors.
The main reason for this issue is that excited visitors are highly likely to overlook the importance of rules noticed in those invaluable places. They often step on the vulnerable structure in order to take a picture celebrating their visits, or throw away trash without being aware of what those historical places stand for. These reckless behaviors tend to cause the huge (너무 과합니다. 굳이 부자연스러운 수식을 해주실 필요는 없어요~) destruction of historical remains and even hinder the reservation of them, since whenever new tourists visit those locations, they usually repeat the same actions.
However, there are solutions to this problem. One of the ways to stop these irresponsible behaviors is to tighten regulations on tourists by blocking them to approach closely to the weak structures and imposing penalty fees strictly on illegal actions such as disposing trash anywhere. This might be a pressure to visitors, however, it is the most direct way to prevent more damage to historical places. In fact, there is an example of a memorial park in Korea where have imposed a penalty fee on tourists who destroyed important sculpture in any ways no matter it was intended to or not. Through reinforcing regulations about them, the amout of costs for repairing damages for reservation had reduced significantly.
To conclude, it is clear that tourists are the main cause of damage in historical remains. (본론 1의 원인을 직접적으로 요약해주세요!) Nevertheless, this issue can resolved by strengthening controls over visitors to those precious places. |
