Some people believe that working students
should be widely encouraged. They claim that having a part-time job as a
student gives many useful experiences through their life. I support this idea because
it gives students many long-term advantages all throughout life.
Firstly, working students can have useful
experiences in their life. It is commonly known that working as a student can help
them to organize their busy schedules and develop their time management skills.
For example, after graduating from school, having to prioritize many activities
and use their time efficiently can help them how to deal with their stressful
situations. It is clearly evident that although working and being a student at
the same time is difficult, it is well worth the stress.
Secondly, working as a student can teaches
them how to budget their money. Having a job for students helps them how to use
their money wisely and learn the value of money. For example, the reason that they
earn their own money would be to use their spending money, to pay tuition money,
and to help their families financially. If students have their part-time job,
they are much more likely to have good spending habits into adulthood. It is
evident that having a part time job for students gives good long-term habits
for life.
To sum up, even though working in college
is difficult, it can provide students with useful skills later in life. For this
reason, having a part time job as a student seems like a good decision.
