▶ Your Answer :
The bar graphs demonstrate number of
employees in six different sectors by gender in the republic of Freedonia
during the year of 1975 and 1995. Overall, number of female workers increased
or remained steady in all six industrial sectors while number of male employees
did not show noticeable changes.
In 1975, in all six sectors, there are more
men than women. Number of male employees is far more in manufacturing,
finance/banking and public sector. Particularly, in public sector, fewer than
50 female works were employed, which is the least figure in the given
statistics.
On the contrary, as can be seen, the number
for women rose dramatically in 1995. In communication and wholesale&retail
trade, number of female employees exceeded its male workers by a large margin
at 300 and 100 respectively.
In conclusion, women made a significant
progress in the job markets in Freedonia over a 20 year period from 1975 to
1995 and they went ahead of or level off men in the field of communications, finance/banking
and wholesale&retail trade.
