The bar chart compares the proportions of
the students who succeeded in their secondary school competency exams, by
gender and subject, from 2010 to 2011.
It is clear that more girls passed all the
exams than boys apart from Geography, and computer science took up the highest
proportion among girls. Much more students succeeded in foreign languages,
mathematics and computer science relatively.
On the one hand, passing rate of girls on
computer service was the highest percentage at 56.3%, and the figures for
mathematics and foreign languages are just below 50%. Meanwhile, boy’s achievement
of mathematics and foreign languages similarly accounted for 48.4% and 46.8%
respectively, and 42% of boys passed computer science.
On the other hand, in chemistry exam, the
biggest gap can be observed between them.<(what are the percentages?) In addition, geography is the sole test
which more boys passed than that girls at 30.4%, whereas the percentage of girls for
that subject is 20%, which is the lowest rate among girls.
