In, 20th century, there are the past, there was severe discrimination between men and women. I agree with this statement. However, I think that today men and women are treated equally.
Nowadays, men and women are given the same rights such as right of vote. Women can speak their own opinions and their thoughts are considered when people make choices. For example, when the government makes a plan to enact a new law or elect new president, many people give their opinions by many ways such as vote without distinction of sex. Moreover, women and men have same chances such as the chance to enter the university, to get a job or to be representative. For instance, if a boy and girl wants to join same university, an admission officer considers only their grades, personality (여기의 경우 오해의 소지가 있습니다.) not gender. Also when woman candidacy for a president election, public people contemplate candidates promises without any attention for their gender. Lastly, if a woman wants to get a job, the woman only need she only needs to improve their career and skills. This is because the companies never consider an applicant’s gender.
To summarize, I think that women and men are treated equally. Since woman and men are given same opportunities in many situations such as entering university, getting a job. Moreover, nowadays, woman and man have same rights. (본론에 언급된 순서로 작성해주셔야합니다. 즉, 권리 관련 내용이 먼저 와야해요.) |
