Many people think that happiness relies upon the individual, while others think it is affected by other factors. Discuss both views and state your opinion.
Many people say that happiness relies upon the individual. This is because people are independent and have subjective point of view. Therefore, some people feel happy even in a situation of feeling unhappy by other people. For example, there is a half of water in a house. When a person who has positive point of view sees it, he will fee l happy because he has remaining water to drink yet. However, another person who has negative point of view watches it, he will feel uncomfortable since he has small amount of water to drink. Therefore, happiness depends on points of view people have and the happiness relies on the individual.
In contrast, others think the happiness is affected by other factors. Most people come to grow in a family from their birth, so their feelings are affected by the families. Children have parents with diverse educational belief. Their happiness can be different by the educational methods. Moreover, if they have siblings, they communicate with them everyday. For example, they play soccer having conversations, resulting in happiness or unhappiness. They cannot be isolated, thus their happiness is affected by their families too.
In my opinion, happiness is affected by other factors. The reasons are presented in the following. People live in a society with many people. They are surrounded by numerous people and talk with them constantly for their aims. For example, even though a person determines to think positively and feel more happiness, his purpose might fail by their peers or friends. He cannot control all the surrounding situation, so happiness is affected by it. Therefore, I think happiness is affected by other factors such as conversation with families and peers.
