Many experts have been concerned because many children have difficulties due to the low income of their parents. In response to this problem,
To begin with, some children lose their opportunities which can learn and experience because they have suffered from poverty. It is obvious that children in a disadvantaged-household may feel disparities in their school compared to the rich students. For example, in Korea, one of a hundred students are unable to finish their mandatory education because they have to work to maintain their livelihood. Furthermore, parents who have a lot of money tried to support only their children by providing extra curriculums and encouraging their children to attend the schools, which need an expensive admission fee and give high quality of education. As this shows children with poverty have few chances to attend good schools and do various activities in school relatively.
Therefore, it is worthwhile for the government to prevent people to divide the level of schools and score the grade of schools. Moreover, the government should spend the budget on the education of children so that they can go to school and receive a proper education without anxiety for the money.
For instance, the Canada government has enforced the policy that children can attend from preschools to high schools freely. It helps all children to receive whole courses of necessary education and has influenced on reducing the disparity regardless of the wealth of parents. For this reason, it is undeniable that it has positive effects on children to provide parallel educations and reduce burdens for the money.
To summarize, although poverty is a serious problem, it is clear that much is being done to fix this problem. If the government and schools work together, the wrong effect of poverty on children will soon be a problem of the past. |
